CIEL FUNDSMITH COLIN MAYER TOUR 2026 EDITION IN THE HEART OF FERNEY

CIEL FUNDSMITH COLIN MAYER TOUR 2026 EDITION IN THE HEART OF FERNEY

This October, FERNEY becomes the setting for the 11th edition of the CIEL Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour, bringing together mountain bikers from Mauritius and abroad for three days of sport, challenge and discovery across the south-east of the island.

A new terrain. A new perspective.

After almost a decade in the west of Mauritius, the CIEL Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour takes a new direction in 2026.

From 16 to 18 October, riders will navigate forests, fields, mountains and technical trails around FERNEY and the surrounding region. Across three stages, the routes will test endurance and determination, while opening up views of the Grand Port lagoon, the eastern landscape and Lion Mountain.

It is this combination of sport and place that makes FERNEY a fitting setting for the Tour.

Where performance becomes collective

Mountain biking is an individual challenge, but the CIEL Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour is built around a collective spirit. This partnership is also an opportunity to bring people into a landscape that reflects the diversity of Mauritius, while supporting values that are deeply aligned with the Group: performance, teamwork, resilience, connection and respect for nature.

Riders compete in teams, support one another through demanding stages and share the experience with fellow competitors, organisers, volunteers, families and spectators. From elite athletes to passionate amateurs, everyone arrives with a different goal, but with a common mindset: to challenge themselves and go further together.

This is a spirit that resonates with CIEL.

“The CIEL Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour brings together values that are close to us: performance and the drive to push beyond one’s limits, but also camaraderie, teamwork, solidarity and respect for nature. We are very pleased to support this 11th edition and to welcome the event to FERNEY, offering participants the opportunity to discover the south east region of Mauritius through sport.” — Guillaume Dalais, Group Chief Executive, CIEL
