Focus on risk management at CIEL with Jean-Michel Nairac

In today’s environment and economy, it is essential to carefully manage a company and more so a group’s exposure to multiple risks. Knowing so, CIEL is pleased to welcome Jean-Michel Nairac as our new Group Risk Officer to further improve CIEL’s risk management framework and processes. Passionate about Data Science and artificial intelligence, he holds a Masters in Financial Mathematics and a Certificate in Professional Risk Management. He has worked three years in South-Africa before moving to Mauritius in 2016

He is accountable for enabling the efficient and effective management/governance of all risks, and related opportunities, to CIEL and its clusters. To him, risk management is first and foremost a mindset and his primary role consists in instilling this outlook into every employee.
