CIEL Group reports on its sustainability initiatives for 2016

One more step towards organisational sustainability ! In its endeavour to become a leader of sustainable development in its world, CIEL is more than ever commited to go beyond local requirements in order to implement the best international practices within the group through a continuous improvement process. 

By creating value while simultaneously seeking for a balance between economic, social and environmental axes, the group has recently published its first collection of Sustainability Initiatives for the year 2016. Entitled “Building our Ability to Sustain”, this online document illustrates some of the initiatives undertaken within CIEL’s five clusters (Textile, Finance, Hotels & Resorts, Healthcare and Agro & Property) at local and international level. One might read about the release of endemic Echo Parakeets at La Vallée de Ferney, CIEL Textile’s actions in Mauritius, India and Madagascar to materialise its convictions on environmental responsibility and also the group’s electricity and water-saving initiative in Uganda through CIEL Healthcare.
