HEAD OF FINISHED GOODS STORE - MADAGASCAR
Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, The Head of FGS has to manage & ensure a good management of finished goods store.
What you will be doing:
- Manage distribution operations and maintain variance-free inventory through the inventory verification process.
- Maintain inventory control systems and plan for future capacity needs.
- Plan and schedule the assembly of orders and the shipment of goods.
- Study the logistical needs for the ODC and prepare a cost estimate.
- Establish regular MIS reports and statistics on a daily basis.
- Maintain the physical conditions of the warehouse and ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement procedures in operations and optimize the use of resources and capacities.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs clearance agent and supplier company.
- Motivate and organize the workforce team ensuring care productivity goals are met.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in the field of logistics, warehouse management and stock management.
- Good understanding of the principles of inventory and customs clearance of goods.
- Good knowledge of the different supply processes: direct, indirect, third parties, subcontracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, etc.
- Practical knowledge of Office Pack tools: Excel, Word… and ERP software.
- Ability to communicate in French and English: orally and in writing.
- Excellent quality in management: people and time management.
- Strong capacity for analysis, organization and negotiation.
