C-Care, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group, owning and operating the two main private healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely Clinique Darné and Wellkin Hospital. C-Care also owns and manages C-Care Clinic and C-Lab.
C-Care is currently looking for a Legal Counsel for the corporate office to provide legal support to its operations.
LEGAL COUNSEL
Reporting to the Head of Projects & Cost Optimization, the selected candidate will be mainly responsible for providing legal advice and services to C-Care Group and its subsidiaries.
What you will be doing:
- Monitor all legal affairs of the company
- Ensure coordination with Ciel Group legal counsel
- Ensure coordination with external lawyers
- Providing legal advice whenever required
- Advising on corporate governance and compliance issues
- Be the litigation register guardian
- Ensure contract management governance & running system
- Act as the DPO of the company
What are we looking for?
- Holder of an LLB (Hons) or higher degree or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar field
- Experience in a reputable law firm or corporate environment will be an advantage
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to self-regulate and prioritize jobs
