C-Care, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group, owning and operating the two main private healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné and C-Care Wellkin. C-Care also owns and manages C-Care Clinic and C-Lab.

 

C-Care is currently looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS MANAGER

Reporting to the Corporate Head of Human Resources, the selected candidate will own strategies for employee compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As a member of the People Continuous and Improvement team, the candidate should be passionate about cross-functional partnership and collaboration with all internal customers.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage day-to-day compensation and benefits-related tasks.
  • Review and modify existing compensation programs, policies and procedures and ensuring these comply with current legislation and aligned to the company’s goals.
  • Design competitive and cost-efficient programs that will assist with employee retention and attract top talent.
  • Prepare reports and presentation for board pack and other committee meeting.
  • Jockey HR yearly Budget process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of same.
  • Design the right dashboards, tools and initiatives to monitor closely the staff budget and track, advise and recommend solutions for concerned areas.
  • Jockey the HR monthly payroll processing across the various Business Units by setting the right KPIs and communication governance.
  • Communicate with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Formalize the existing benefits plan (Medical Insurance, Pension, Other benefits) and devise a communication plan to ensure concerned are aware of their eligible benefits.
  • Implement the HR Digitalisation project which consist of a new Time & Attendance, Payroll, Productivity and Efficiency tool.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in general management, business administration, or any other related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related role.
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including professional level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in Data Science, with proven experience of having work with large amount of data.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or payroll software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
