The resort Financial Controller is responsible for all resort financial controls within the limits of formalised policies & procedures established by the head office. In addition, as a key member of the resort’s management team, the Controller is required to provide a commercial and financial input to the formulation of operational strategies and action plans.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides financial and commercial guidance in line with the Business Goals
  • Maximizes cash flow performance of the resort  
  • Ensures that expenditure is incurred within the constraints of the resort’s Annual Plan
  • Lead the accounting and purchasing team
  • Controls capital expenditures to ensure compliance with original justification and approval.
  • Maintains appropriate list of delegation of authority for resort management.
  • Directs monthly inspections and tests to ensure all departments are complying with required procedures.
  • Implements and maintains acceptable accounting practices and procedures as required

Main Requirements

  • Fully ACCA qualified
  • At least 10-12 years of working experience in the hospitality and/or Audit/Consultancy company.
  • Proven track record of Financial Achievements
